and i cannot escape your memory,

it follows me, it wakes me, it keeps me 

from that which i want

from that which i need

from that which i crave.

the touch of another 

is never enough

the kiss of a stranger

only sends me into 

that regret of what 

i cannot.

and i cannot .

and i will not.

and i am not,

that which hurts

the one i loved.

and the years,

the years that i hoped

would bring comfort,

only fill me with self-loathing

and contempt for that 

which i let slip so carelessly......

I met Mr. Ambition at one of the aforementioned weddings. Several people recommended that I talk to him, and we liked each other right away. Mutual friends used words like “zealot” to describe him; let’s just say he’s got an intense history of dedicated activism. Charisma, integrity, and pure energy pour off him. His words are almost always articulate and challenging. He can socially dominate a room without thinking. He works a challenging job ten hours per day; exercises two hours; socializes several hours; sleeps and eats when he can. He gives hugs easily, laughs easily, hands out compliments like candy.

Mr. Ambition is most definitely not a neutral personality. Of course, neither am I.

So lately my biggest challenge is simply trying to talk less. much less. and when i do talk to be aware of the volume of my voice.   this is something that a few of my good friends, who all happen to be extremely successful businessmen have told me.  Jovan said "michael, you don't have to prove your the smartest man in the room." he then asked me what my iq was.

An intelligence quotient, or IQ, is a score derived from one of several different standardized tests designed to assess intelligence. The term "IQ" comes from the German Intelligenz-Quotient. When modern IQ tests are constructed, the mean (average) score within an age group is set to 100 and the standard deviation(SD) to 15.^[1] Today almost all IQ tests adhere to the assignment of 15 IQ points to each standard deviation, but this has not been the case historically. By construction, approximately 95% of the population scores within two SDs of the mean, i.e., has an IQ between 70 and 130.

IQ scores have been shown to be associated with such factors as morbidity and mortality, parental social status,^[2] and, to a substantial degree, parental IQ. While the heritability of IQ has been investigated for nearly a century, controversy remains regarding the significance of heritability estimates,^[3][4] and themechanisms of inheritance are still a matter of some debate.^[5]

IQ scores are used in many contexts: as predictors of educational achievement or special needs, by social scientists who study the distribution of IQ scores in populations and the relationships between IQ score and other variables, and as predictors of job performance and income. The average IQ scores for many populations have been rising at an average rate of three points per decade since the early 20th century, a phenomenon called the Flynn effect. It is disputed whether these changes in scores reflect real changes in intellectual abilities.

Whether or not IQ tests are an accurate measure of intelligence is open to debate. It is difficult to define exactly what constitutes intelligence; it may be the case that IQ scores represent a very specific type of intelligence.
